Located in the center of town, the Sea Isle City Historical Museum has something to offer everyone---from residents to vacationers, from children to adults.

Come let the helpful volunteers give you a taste of  "Old Sea Isle," or take a stroll through thestatue.gif (30330 bytes) lovely Memorial Garden located behind the Museum.

(The statue to the right, called "Neptune," now resides in the Memorial Garden.
It used to overlook "Neptune Street" in the days before Sea Isle had numbered
streets.)

Displays at the Museum include: old furniture, antique toys, an extensive post card exhibit, write ups and photos of all of the major storms, old school pictures, old Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts pictures, pictures of past Baby Parades and Christmas Parades, and much, much more.

Walking tours of Old Sea Isle are available by appointment.  There are three main tours: Downtown, Townsends Inlet and the Boardwalk.

The Museum also maintains a gift shop on the premises.  Among the many new items available this season is a new video featuring many scenes of Sea Isle City.

The Museum is open on Saturdays from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.  In July and August, it will be open everyday except Sunday,  from 10:00 AM till 1:00 PM.   Fall hours are from 10:00 AM till 1:00 PM on Saturdays. (Hours are also available by appointment.)
So if you'd like to learn a little bit about Sea Isle's past, or if you're just feeling a little nostalgic, come downtown and visit the way Sea Isle used to be!
